How and why are General Practices working differently?

Throughout the pandemic all doctors, nurses and general practice teams have been working differently in order to continue to provide you with urgent and routine care and to stay open safely and in a way that protects you and your family should you need to come and see us.

We have remained open throughout the pandemic and are now seeing and speaking to more patients than even before Covid-19

Here is a letter from all the General Practices in the area and an explanation of how and why the service is currently different- but still there when you need it

Blood tests and Blood Bottle supply problems- update

12th October 2021

You may have read that there has been a national shortage of blood bottles for some of the tests we do at the surgery or you may even have had an appointment or test delayed

We are pleased to announce that the stocks of bottles are improving nationally and we are now restarting routine monitoring tests. If your recall is due then please contact us in the usual way.

Many thanks from the team at Combe Down Surgery
